Saudi Arabia Trade Surplus Soars 70% November 2025

Saudi Arabia trade balance recorded a surplus of SAR 22.3 billion (USD 5.9 billion) during the month of November 2025. This shows an increase of SAR 9.2 billion year-on-year  according to data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). Additionally, trade balance grew 5.2% month-on-month, amounting to SAR 1.1 billion (USD 290 million) compared to October 2025.

Re-Exported Goods Experience Significant Increase

Saudi Arabia trade volume during November reached approximately SAR 177.1 billion (USD 47.22 billion). Accordingly, merchandise exports were valued at SAR 99.7 billion (USD 26.58 billion) and imports SAR 77.4 billion (USD 20.63 billion). Petroleum exports reached a value of SAR 67 billion (USD 17.86 billion), representing 67.2% of total merchandise exports. Meanwhile, non-oil national exports recorded SAR 18.9 billion (USD 5.03 billion), constituting 19% of total exports year-on-year from 2024. Re-exports experienced a significant increase, reaching SAR 13.7 billion (USD 3.65 billion), a growth rate of 53.1% across the same period last year.

Asian Countries Top Trading Partner List For Imports

In terms of trading partners, Asian countries topped the list of importers accounting for 75.2% of imports (valued at SAR 74.9 billion – USD 19.97 billion). European nations followed with 9.7% (SAR 9.7 billion – USD 2.58 billion) and then American countries with 7.5%. Overall, China maintained its position as the leading importer of Saudi exports, representing 13.5% (SAR 13.5 billion – USD 3.59 billion).

Non-oil exports (including re-exports) were routed through 31 land, sea and air customs ports, with a total value of SAR 32.7 billion (USD 8.71 billion). King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah emerged top with SAR 5.6 billion (USD 1.49 billion), followed by Jeddah Islamic Port with SAR 3.6 billion (USD 0.95 billion). This distributed activity across various ports underscores the logistical breadth of Saudi Arabia`s expanding trade infrastructure.
