Oman Tanmo Programme recently graduated its second cohort in partnership with the Development Bank and Sharakah. The six month initiative is designed to help Omani small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) build stronger operations, sharpen strategic planning and prepare for sustained growth.
Institutions Providing Vital Skills And Support To Promising SME`s
Delivered through partnership between three institutions, Oman Tanmo Programme provides participating businesses with practical tools, expert mentoring and advisory support. It is designed to strengthen SMEs financial management and project planning aligned with Oman Vision 2040 and 11th Five-Year Plan. The second cohort supported businesses from sectors including tourism, manufacturing, food and beverage, retail, creative services and technology. The wider group also included businesses in interior design and contracting, advertising and printing and beauty and personal care. Additional entities included sweet production and packaged food, underlining the range in which Omani SMEs are building new capabilities.

Oman Tanmo Programme is helping to build a stronger generation of Omani SMEs with sharper digital literacy, greater resilience and a clearer foundation for growth. By pairing financial expertise with practical support it is enabling Omani entrepreneurs to adapt while strengthening their contribution to GDP. The Oman Tanmo Programme combines business assessment tools, knowledge-sharing and structured support aimed at helping SMEs improve performance over time. As the programme develops, Sharakah and Development Bank will expand its reach and reinforce available support for entrepreneurs across Oman.
