Fitch`s report predicts Qatar construction sector will experience a strong real Gross Value Added growth rate of 6.7% in 2027. This follows structural constraints easing through the second half of 2026. Experts noted that their long-term forecast (2026-2035) shows a steady annual average growth of 1%.

Industry experts revealed the normalisation of key maritime trade routes will relieve supply chains and stabilise raw material costs during the second half of 2026. Additional logistics corridors and customs solutions have also been introduced with the coordination of other countries.
