Qatar Chamber recently held talks with the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce on expanding trade and investment cooperation. Accordingly, a particular focus was dedicated to strengthening private sector partnerships. The discussions explored ways to boost bilateral trade and increase mutual investments across sectors, particularly food security and food industries. Both sides discussed developing a roadmap to deepen economic cooperation and encourage greater collaboration between businesses.
Qatar Chamber Invited To Be Keynote Speaker At Arab-Brazilian Forum
During the meeting, Qatar Chamber was invited as a keynote speaker to the fifth Arab-Brazilian Economic Forum. The event is due to take place in Sao Paulo on August 25. This year’s forum will be held under the theme, “The Global Economy in Transition – A New Agenda Between Brazil and the Arab Countries”. The event aims to strengthen economic ties and foster closer cooperation between private sector organisations across the two regions.
Trade Discussed With Officials From Armenia, Colombia And Honduras
In associated news, Qatar Chamber recently received officials from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Colombia and the Embassy of Honduras. Participants discussed trade and economic relations between the countries as well as ways to further strengthen them. They also reviewed the investment climate and key opportunities available for cooperation between the Qatari private sector and its counterparts. In addition, the meeting explored potential areas of collaboration between companies across various economic sectors, thereby contributing to increased trade. The Qatari private sector is open to establishing alliances and partnerships with its counterparts in Armenia, Colombia and Honduras.
