Tax Returns To Be Submitted Using The Dhareeba Online Tax Portal
Qatar General Tax Authority (GTA) requests all companies and entities to submit their tax returns using the Dhareeba Tax Portal. This applies to all organisations holding a commercial registration, trade license or home license and is inclusive of tax-exempt entities. Specifically, this extension applies to entities and individuals subject to the Income Tax Law No. (24) of 2018 and amendments. This includes companies owned by Qatari or Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) nationals residing in the State. Moreover it applies to private associations and institutions, including charitable and public benefit organisations established in accordance with applicable regulations. However, it excludes companies operating in the petroleum and petrochemical sectors, which should have already submitted their documents.

Qatar General Tax Authority was established based on the Amiri Diwan`s Decision No. 77 of 2018 to be responsible for tax implementation. Responsibilities include the application of tax laws, regulations and relevant instructions, reviewing and evaluating tax declarations and tax collection.
