Qatar General Authority of Customs and the General Tax Authority recently launched combined new digital integration services. Assistance will be available through the Al Nadeeb electronic customs clearance system and the Dhareeba tax transaction management platform.
Digital Service Offering Will Support Goals Of Qatar Vision 2030
Qatar Customs revealed 11 joint digital services will be available, supporting Qatar National Vision 2030 in digital transformation/government service excellence. Accordingly, the new options will standardise procedures between the customs and tax sectors and enhance the efficiency of operational processes. The services cover registration, tax returns and the movement of goods and excise tax procedures. They are supported by the secure automated exchange of data between both authorities, reducing manual data entry, limiting duplication and improving data accuracy.

Qatar Customs reiterated its shared commitment to building an interconnected digital government ecosystem that simplifies procedures, accelerates transaction processing and enhances data accuracy. The new system will support more effective decision-making, strengthen compliance and transparency and positively contribute to the business environment. In addition, the partnership contributes to enhancing coordination with national public and private-sector institutions, enabling more efficient services.
