The OCCI`s Foreign Investment Committee stated that foreign investment is not only beneficial to the funding of projects. It noted these types of investments introduce new technologies, offer international expertise and provide employment opportunities to the Omani workforce. Importantly, it stated that infrastructure is not only being built for today’s needs but to serve future generations of residents. Moreover, international collaboration is modernising the Sultanate and introducing high-tech solutions across the energy, government and construction sectors.

The Foreign Investment Committee works with investors to streamline procedures, resolve challenges and promote Oman through exhibitions, forums and trade missions. It mentioned that low inflation, political stability and improving credit rating is making Oman a trusted destination for long-term investors. Accordingly, the country is witnessing interest from Asia, particularly the subcontinent, as it offers proximity and access to GCC markets. Officials noted Oman’s well-developed ports, existing trade routes and free zones are positioning the country as a natural entry point for companies looking to expand in the Gulf.
