Media City Qatar (MCQ) and International Association for MediaTech (IAMT) recently entered into a Platinum Partnership aimed at advancing industry dialogue. Additional goals include encouraging innovation and collaboration across international markets.
MCQ Expected To Benefit Due To Enhanced Global Visibility
The partnership aligns with Media City Qatar ambition to position the State as a regional hub for media and content creation. It also has goals of connecting international expertise with regional growth and opportunity. Accordingly, as part of the agreement, Media City Qatar will benefit from enhanced global visibility across IAMT’s digital platforms and international industry events throughout 2026. These will include the IBC in the Netherlands, the NAB Show in the United States and the ISE in Spain. Additional events will include the CABSAT in the UAE, Broadcast Asia in Singapore and Inter BEE in Japan. This presence reinforces Media City Qatar positioning within key global industry while strengthening international awareness of Qatar’s growing media ecosystem.
Partnership Will Support Ongoing Media Sector Development
The partnership also supports Media City Qatar long-term sector development, providing access to selected IAMT training programmes and knowledge-sharing initiatives. These efforts align with its broader mandate to cultivate a future-ready media ecosystem in the region. It also strengthens its role as a connector between regional ambition and global industry expertise. Through IAMT’s international platforms Media City Qatar is reinforcing the country’s position as a local platform for growth and collaboration, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. The partnership creates a foundation for new opportunities by connecting regional growth with global expertise. Moreover, it will enable companies to access emerging markets, form strategic partnerships and play an active role in shaping the MediaTech industry.
