Qatar Real Estate Sales Hit QAR 2.7B In February 2026

Qatar real estate market recorded upward trends during February 2026, with overall sales reaching QAR 2.71 billion (USD 740.5 million). During the same timeframe, the property sales index registered 508 land transactions according to the Qatar Real Estate Registration Department.

Qatar Real Estate Market Driven By Economic Diversification Goals

The steady flow of transactions underscores the strength of Qatar real estate market as it transitions into a more mature phase of growth. It is supported by economic diversification goals aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy (NDS3). Furthermore, government initiatives and residency reforms for property owners have provided a stable foundation for demand. Compared with January 2026, the volume of registered properties showed growth of 19% as the Qatar real estate transaction value index climbed 56%.

According to the list, Doha Municipality registered transaction volumes worth QAR 1.18 billion (USD 320 million) in February. Al Rayyan Municipality recorded QAR 847 million (USD 232.69 million) and Al Dhaayen Municipality QAR 268 million (USD 73.62 million). Property valuation averaged QAR 972 (USD 267) per square foot in Doha, followed by QAR 571 (USD 157) in Al Daayen. Other regional rates included QAR 555 (USD 152) in Al Rayyan and QAR 399 (USD 110) in Al Wakrah. Further valuations reached QAR 394 (USD 108) in Umm Slal and QAR 415 (USD 114) in Al Khor and Thakira. Meanwhile more remote areas averaged QAR 261 (USD 72) in Al Shamal and QAR 146 (USD 40) in Al Sheehaniya.

Qatar Real Estate Market Hits Milestone Sales Figures

In associated news, the weekly value of sales contracts between February 8 – 12 2026, reached a milestone QAR 367.85 million (USD 100.7 million). According to the Qatar Real Estate Registration Departments weekly bulletin, the diverse range of properties traded included vacant land and residences. Further realty included, residential buildings, commercial shops, administrative offices, commercial markets and individual residential units.
