Alatau City Kazakhstan Introduces New Model Of Public Administration
Accordingly, Alatau City Kazakhstan has introduced a new model of public administration in order to facilitate a smooth adoption. It covers areas including entrepreneurship, customs regulation, digital assets, gaming activities, financial sector, architecture, environmental policy, culture, gambling and sports. Furthermore, the law also introduces the status of “Alatau Resident.” This status will be granted by the Alatau City Kazakhstan administration to individuals and legal entities under selected categories. In addition, it will clearly define the scope of benefits, as well as the rights and obligations of residents.
City Development Based On Three Strategic Documents
The City`s long-term development framework is based on three strategic documents: long-term development plan, master plan and Alatau Development Strategy. In terms of digitalisation, the law provides for creation of a unified urban management platform integrating infrastructure data and public safety systems. This will ensure security and the effective functioning and development of Alatau City Kazakhstan as a “Smart City.” Furthermore, infrastructure facility and public safety systems data will be integrated into a unified urban digital platform for city-space management. Additionally, the law will regulate the investment climate and investor protections, fiscal and budgetary policy, land relations and urban design.
