Oman’s digital economy transactions reached approximately OMR 3 billion (USD 7.79 billion) between 2021 and 2024 reflecting the sector’s expansion. The figures were presented by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which reviewed priorities under the 11th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030).

According to the International Data Centre Association, Oman ranks second in the Gulf and 18th globally among the fastest-growing countries in the digital economy. Their Global Digital Economy Report 2026 indicates significant progress for Oman as the Sultanate advances its diversification agenda. Moreover, Oman aims to increase the digital economy’s contribution to GDP from approximately 2% currently to 10% by 2040.
